Live Videos

I apologize for the poor quality of the videos currently available. However, I am excited to announce that soon I will be uploading professional HD videos of two songs recorded live in Madrid during Tim “Ripper” Owens Iberian Tour. These videos were professionally mixed and mastered by JP METAL STUDIOS, and filmed using five 4K cameras to ensure the highest quality. Stay tuned for these upcoming releases!

Phantom Hamer GT: a brief history about it

Based on the Tipton Hamer GT guitar model used by Glenn Tipton during the “Demolition” tour. Some details make it different, as I decided to make some modifications in the shape, as well as in the matte finish and string locking, using buffalo bone nut and Kahler system. The mirrors are thicker and of better quality. The woods were respected, adding ebony for the fretboard inlays, as well as the fret size.

PART I

Since I knew I was going to tour with Ripper Owens, I was alarmed about the guitar I was going to use. I have an ESP Horizon, a top guitar, but it has a fixed bridge. In order I needed another top guitar with a floating bridge, to give the songs the nuances they really have. I tried to find guitars similar to Glenn‘s, even looked at the typical Chinese replicas, but since I don’t like halfway solutions, I started looking for a more professional solution.

After 2 months I almost decided to give up and play with what I have, when one night, at 3am after searching for guitars, I entered FB and saw a post by someone named “Er Parri” showing an instrument he had made. Upon entering his profile, I saw that he doesn’t live far away, near Seville, so I encouraged myself to write to him. The next day I had a response, finding a wonderful person, passionate about his work. It was early June. I needed the guitar in record time. The great Danis Parris of custom guitars got to work after sending him a thousand photos and info about the guitar. The longed-for replica of the Hamer guitar of one of the guitarists that marked me the most was on its way.
